Geomatics University College provides quality supervision for its research stage. Doctoral candidates will be supported by at least two supervisors throughout their candidacy. Under their guidance, GUC doctoral candidates will write and submit a thesis that represents a significant contribution to the body of knowledge or understanding of their research area.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from any Institute of Higher Education, requiring at least four years of full-time study equivalent to first class honours; OR
- Masters in a relevant discipline, including a significant research component; OR
- International students are required to obtain a minimum score of 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent.
